Christopher W. Tomlin
President & CEO
Christopher is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator, Licensed Assisted Living Administrator and a Licensed Attorney who began his career at Methodist Homes in 1994. Christopher has served in numerous positions with Methodist Homes. He was selected by the Board of Trustees to lead the organization as President & CEO in 2009.
Michael D. Giles
Senior Vice President, COO & General Counsel
Mike earned his Master of Healthcare Administration degree from Georgia State University and has both acute-care hospital and long-term care management experience. In addition, Mike earned a Juris Doctor degree from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University and spent nearly 20 years in private law practice, advising businesses in the area of employment and labor law.
Regina T. Lawler
Vice President, Director of Information Technology
Fresh out of school, Regina was hired at the Methodist Homes corporate office in 1987 to be an administrative assistant to the Executive Director. Over the years, Regina’s expertise and experience has grown tremendously. She has worked in almost every area of corporate management, from payroll to accounts payable, from financial management to her current specialization in information technology.
Vicki H. Jackson
Vice President, Director of Human Resources
Vicki has more than 20 years of experience in human resource management at the corporate level and began her career at Methodist Homes in 2000. She earned her Business Administration degree from the University of Alabama and has served in management roles in various industries, including higher education, health care, and retail and commercial property. In 2012, Vicki became a Vice President of Methodist Homes.
Liz Prosch, RN, NHA
Vice President of Quality and Mission Integration
A registered nurse and licensed nursing home administrator, Liz previously served Methodist Homes in a similar quality oversight role and as an administrator. She then spent several years working with the Alabama Quality Assurance Foundation, and returned to Methodist Homes in 2017. Liz helps our Methodist Homes communities focus squarely on quality initiatives and resident-directed care.
W. Bruce Akins
Chief Financial Officer
Bruce graduated from the University of Montevallo in 1971 with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Business Administration and minoring in Economics. He is a Certified Public Accountant and also holds Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designations granted by The American College of Financial Services in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Before joining the Methodist Homes as its Chief Financial Officer in 2013, he spent most of his working career in public accounting providing tax and accounting services to businesses and individuals.
Director of Public Relations
Sherri earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from the University of North Texas School of Journalism in 1992 and has spent almost her entire professional career with Methodist Homes. She joined the staff of Methodist Homes in 1993 to provide administrative support to the President & CEO, and in 2009, became Methodist Homes’ Director of Public Relations.

Fair Haven Leadership Staff
Daniel H. March, NHA, MBA, MS, M Div
Dan earned his BA in Religion from Millikin University and his Master of Divinity from Lexington Theological Seminary before going to work in pastoral ministry. After 16 years in pastoral care in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Dan returned to school at Kansas State University to earn an MS in Hospitality Management. A few years later, Dan returned to Wichita State University for an MBA.
Maria Brown Ephraim, NHA, MS
Administrator, Health Care & Rehabilitation Services
Maria joined the Fair Haven team in October 2017. She holds a degree in nutrition from Tuskegee University, completed a dietary internship at UAB, and later earned a Master’s in Nutrition at the University of Alabama. After six months of encouragement and prompting by a colleague and mentor, Maria decided her heart was in patient care, which led her to become a licensed nursing home administrator. She is thankful to God for the opportunity and strength to make a difference in people’s lives.
Earnestine Thompson, ALA II
Administrator, Residential & Assisted Living Services
Earnestine is a Licensed Assisted Living Administrator. She has also served as Residential Administrator during her long tenure with Methodist Homes. Since beginning her career with Methodist Homes in 1982, Earnestine has served as the Director of Food Service for several Methodist Homes communities, and most recently as Corporate Director of Food Services.
Wesley Place on Honeysuckle Leadership Staff
Patrick R. Davies, NHA
Patrick has been a licensed administrator for more than 25 years, and has worked in senior care across the southeast region for more than 23 years. Patrick says that he finds our new neighborhoods and households to be ideal settings in which to restore respect and dignity to long-term care. Patrick joined the Wesley Place on Honeysuckle team in June of 2017.
Vivian Readus, ALA II
Vivian serves as Administrator of the Assisted Living and Specialty Care Assisted Living Community at Wesley Place on Honeysuckle. She is also a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Alabama. Vivian has worked for Methodist Homes since 1990.
Judy Partin, RN
Director of Nursing (DON)
Judy is a native of Cottonwood, Alabama, and graduated from George C. Wallace Community College. She has been a Registered Nurse since 2002 and has served at Methodist Homes since 2004. In 2015 she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Jacksonville State University.
Director of Marketing and Admissions
Holly received her degree in Marketing at Valdosta State University, and has spent her entire career in healthcare sales and marketing. She joined the Wesley Place on Honeysuckle team in 2016. Holly has been in love with working with older adults for more than 20 years.
Wesley Gardens Leadership Staff
Randy Allen, ALA
Randy began working at Wesley Gardens as a young college student in 1986 as a waiter in Dining Services. He became a licensed administrator, and officially became Wesley Gardens’ administrator in 1993.
Netty Bly, RN
Director of Nursing
Nettie is a registered nurse and has more than 25 years of nursing experience in long-term care. She came on board with Wesley Gardens in April 2003.

Mary C. Davis
Mary joined Methodist Homes in 2010 as the Director of Sales and Marketing and now enjoys the position of Administrator. Mary brings with her a combined 25 years of financial work experience in the private banking industry and for the State of Florida. Mary takes special pride in providing a beautiful, safe community for her residents, where quality of life, quality care and peace of mind are a priority.
Wesley Haven Villa Leadership Staff
Jennifer, a native of Pensacola, carries on a family tradition of serving senior adult communities. An Assisted Living Administrator since 2002, Jennifer joined the staff of Methodist Homes in June 2012.
Wesley Apartments & Wesley Park Leadership Staff
Barbara is a Certified Housing Manager and a Certified Section 8 Manager. She has been in property management since 1990, and has enjoyed leading Wesley Apartments and Wesley Park since 2003.

Pamela Wright, CPO, FHC
Pamela has been in the property management industry since 1981.
Epworth House Leadership Staff
Lea began working with Methodist Homes in January 2016. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Commerce and Business Administration at the University of Alabama in 1988, and worked in the healthcare field (Vaughan Regional Medical Center, Selma) for a total of 13 years. She also served as director of the hospital’s wellness center for 7 years.

James Hixon joined the Methodist Homes team in June of 2016.
